Kristi Holmes, PhD, focuses her research efforts on the development and application of information standards to enable interoperability and data exchange and she seeks to develop methods to better identify, understand, and maximize meaningful impacts of research efforts on the micro and macro levels. She leads a number of efforts related to metrics and assessment and frequently lectures on health research impact topics. She is excited to define new roles and opportunities for the modern biomedical research library in an increasingly informatics and data-driven environment.
