The issue of matching schemes or conceptual frameworks is to provide equivalent entities in two or more frameworks of information that belong to the same domain but have been built separately. Today, however, there are many methods and tools available to address this problem, the complex nature of the matching problem makes current solutions not entirely adequate for real situations. Recently, the Google Similarity Distance appeared. The aim is to use the Google search engine to mine information from the Internet to compare text expressions semantically.
