As Director of Information Technology Services for the University Libraries at Virginia Tech, Bill is responsible for the planning and management of the department’s activities and employees, and provides leadership and expertise in strategic technology management to enhance the growth and effectiveness of the Libraries’ services. Bill holds an MS from the iSchool at Illinois, a BA from the University of Virginia, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
