CoTO: A Novel Approach for Fuzzy Aggregation of Semantic Similarity Measures uri icon

abstract

  • Semantic similarities calculation attempts to assess the resemblance among several textual phrases that describe the very same real object or concept using separate lexicographies. To tackle this problem, there have been a number of semantic similarity approaches. Nonetheless, by combining a set of basic  indicators, the best results were achieved. This implies that the cumulative similarity for a pair of textual phrases is determined through the use of an aggregate method of these different similarities values after measuring the different features from the problem. After that, some mathematical methods are often used to carry out this aggregation.
